I finished my novel. Finally! I. Am. So. Happy!!!!!!! It was deffinitely a HUGE project, but I think it turned out pretty good. \(^o^)/ *yay*.

Pages: 238 - single spaced (computer pages, if it were in book format and double spaced it would be 605 pages)
Word Count: 145k ('k' stands for 1,000)

More Nano! Well...extra Nano

Sooo....about my Mendocino trip and 4th of July, I'll post those pics later when I can find the camera and when updates aren't clogging the comp! Anyways, yesterday (July 13th) I was on a role. So you guys know how #1 and I and sometimes #3 do this program called Nanowrimo,National Novel Writing Month - takes place in November...) Well, yesterday I decided that I wanted to work on 2009's nano book. I was so absorbed in the writing that by the time I had to go to bed I had written 7,590 words!!! There was a total of 120k or for those of you who don't know what the 'k' means, then I had 120,166 words and 201 computer pages, if it were in book format my book would have 408 pages. I mean, not to brag or anything...

The Dangerous Night of Writing Dangerously...Well sort of... :-D

Sleepover at #2's house! We got our laptops set up, and are tapping away at our respective keyboards, typing diligently. Or, at least, that's what we'd like you to believe. While we have got a fair amount of writing done, we've also been spending time on the Script Frenzy site, reading Screnzyisms*, and looking at amazing, mush ocean photography by Jim Patterson. The Camping Trip...And Some Other Stuff

So, the day after school got out, my family and along with other families from our Chinese School went camping. Our family traveled with #1's family. #3 rode in my mom's car and I rode in #1's. Here are some pics that show you where we went before the campgrounds. The place that we went was called Turtle Bay. It is amazingly pretty there. They have a large garden, a museum, a cafe, a park, another museum, animals, and a butterfly garden! (The camping pictures are going on a different post.)
